Today is the last day of our mini-Easter Bunny theme! I hope you and your kids have had fun together this week.
Are you new to these monthly themes? No worries! You can join our FB group and print out the March School Calendar to get started! Just scroll to the bottom of this post and pop your email in so I can send it to you!
Keep reading below for Easter Basket Day activities and printables!
Day #10. Easter Basket Day!
Here is some of what we have planned for today! 🙂 Did you want to download and print out everything for this week all at once? You can! Grab the Easter Bunny Day Activity Pack here!
PS: If you grab BOTH the St. Patrick and Easter Bunny Activity Packs, you will receive my Holy Week Activity Pack for FREE! Just send me a screenshot of your orders over on FB messenger or at [email protected]. As soon as the Holy Week Activity Pack is released, I’ll send you a special code to download it for free! These packs come with extra printables (like the mini Easter egg playdoh mats below) and are great for saving time by downloading and printing everything all at once…plus these themes will be organized, especially if you’d like to use any of this again for next year! 🩷
Activities
IMPORTANT NOTE: These printable activities will be FREE for you to download, but only during Easter Basket Day! So, make sure to download them even if you are going to do Easter Basket Day later in the week – that way you can still snag them for free. If you could leave a review behind afterwards, that would be amazing too! THANK YOU!! 🥰❤️
#1. 3D Easter Basket Paper Craft
Grab this worksheet and print. Color, cut, and assemble all the pieces to create a paper basket for your paper eggs that your student designed earlier in the week!
#2. Easter Basket Salt Painting
Print this printable out on cardstock. Using glue, have your student trace the lines. Sprinkle salt on the glue (add a lot of salt!). Shake the salt off carefully. Dab watercolor paint on the salty glue. Allow it plenty of time to dry.
#3. Silly Easter Coloring Cards
Do your kids like jokes? They can pick one of these cards and color to give to a friend this Easter!
Snack
Today you can use a little Easter basket (I found these at the Dollar Tree), line the inside with parchment paper, and then fill it up with some snacks that your kids like!
Books
(Note: Everyone has different book standards! I highly suggest skimming through any books before reading them to your kids, just to make sure it aligns with your family values first) 🩷
Today we’ll be reading, “The Biggest Easter Basket Ever” by Steven Kroll and “Pete the Cat and the Easter Basket Bandit” by Kimberly and James Dean.
However, if you were unable to grab these books from the library or store, here are the read aloud options on YouTube!
Do You Have Extra Time? Here Are Some Ideas/Videos!
Pick and choose any of the videos/activities below to learn more!
#1. Want a cute song for your little ones? Here is one!
#2. Do your students like to draw? Here is an Easter Basket drawing tutorial!
I hope that you and your kids had fun today! If you need to print out the March Calendar still, drop your email below and I’ll send it right over!
