Cinco de Mayo is coming up in less than a week! It’s a special holiday for me personally, because one of my kiddos is a “Cinco de Mayo baby”! After a rough 25 hours, she was finally born in the evening on Cinco de Mayo. 🩷😅🥰

Cinco de Mayo Day 2024 Activity Pack

#1. Silly Taco “Happy Cinco de Mayo” Craft
Print out this PDF for your students to color and create their own cute, silly taco!
#2. Cinco de Mayo Watercolor Art Project (FREEBIE)
Grab this template here and help your child follow the directions to create some pretty watercolor artwork to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! Your student will trace the lines with a black crayon before painting each section with watercolor paint.
#3. Make Some Cinco de Mayo Paper Maracas!
Print out this PDF onto cardstock and follow the instructions to put it together. This is a super fun craft, especially for younger students!
#4. Make Some Papel Picado Decorations!
Here are 5 different designs for you to print out for your students! I recommend printing them out on cardstock, if they are planning to paint them. You could always just let them use markers, crayon, or colored pencils instead too.
After they are dry, cut out and hang up for a pretty Cinco de Mayo decoration!
#5. Cinco de Mayo Notebook for Kids
Print out this notebook and use it to discuss Cinco de Mayo more. This mini notebook is 8 pages long and each page includes a writing prompt with space to write their answer.
