Day #15. Animal Tracks Day!
Here is some of what we are planning to do on Friday! 🙂
Activities
IMPORTANT NOTE: These printable activities will be FREE for you to download, but only until Animal Tracks Day is over! So, make sure to download them even if you are going to do Animal Tracks Day later in the week – that way you can still snag them for free. If you could leave a review behind afterwards, that would be amazing too! THANK YOU!! 🥰❤️
#1. Animal Tracks Worksheet
Print out this worksheet and have your kids match the animal to its tracks! This PDF includes an answer key.
#2. Animal Tracks Painting
Your kids can use the same printable above to do an animal track themed art activity too! They can paint swirls of snow (using blue, purple, and white colors) and then stamp tracks going across the hills. If they want to skip painting the snow, they could also just paint the feet of some toy animals and stamp them across the hills (or draw tracks).
Snack
The snacks for today are Animal Track Crackers & Cheese! You’ll need crackers, sliced cheese, dip or spreadable cheese, nuts, pepperoni, etc. You can get really creative with this or stick to a basic design – either way, it’ll look awesome for today!
Books
(Note: Some of these books are new to me, so be sure to skim it beforehand if you want to make sure it’s something your family values align with).
Today we’ll be reading, “Let’s Go! Animal Tracks in the Snow” by Diane Polley and “Tracks in the Snow” by Wong Herbert Yee.
If you were unable to grab these books from the library or store, here are the read aloud options on YouTube!
Educational Videos
Pick and choose (or watch all of) the videos below to learn more! ❄️
